Molecular Formula: C17H9Cl3N4O2
Appearance: Off-white or pale yellow crystalline powder, almost odorless; practically insoluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in DMF, DMSO, and THF; requires premixing (in extremely small amounts).
Pharmacological Action: A highly effective, low-toxicity triazine anticoccidial drug. Primarily acts on the second-generation schizont of coccidia (Eimeria tenella), the zygotic stage, and inhibits oocyst sporulation → blocking the life cycle. Effective against Eimeria tenella, Eimeria burmannii, Eimeria toxicaria, Eimeria broodii, Eimeria giantiformis, and Eimeria variegata in chickens, as well as Eimeria variegata in ducks/turkeys/rabbits; does not affect host immunity to coccidiosis.
Indications: Prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in chickens/ducks/turkeys/rabbits—primarily for prevention, reducing bloody stools, mortality, and oocyst expulsion.
Highly effective against *Eimeria tenella* (cecal coccidiosis), *Eimeria spp.* (anterior small intestine), *Eimeria toxicaria* (middle small intestine), *Eimeria brucellosis*, and *Eimeria giant*. Prevention with 1 mg/kg feed (1 g/ton of feed) can effectively control cecal coccidiosis occurrence and mortality, even reducing oocyst excretion to near zero. Can be mixed into broiler feed throughout or at different stages. Not for use in laying hens (general restriction for anticoccidial drugs). Prone to cross-resistance (with toltrazuril) → rotation of medication is recommended.
Storage Conditions: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry warehouse. Keep away from oxidizers.
